Greetings - does anyone know the make and model number of the hyd. cylinder that PT uses on their grapple or 4in1 buckets?

Also- I remember seeing a post from someone that had many pictures and dimensions of the PT adapter plate for a PT 422.

I have searched for it but can not relocate it.

Depending on how the week goes I hope to have design finished by the end of the week. With that said we could begin costing the following week and manufacturing soon after that.

Any information that can be supplied would be great. I will double check the dimensions on the adapter plate / however if I can locate the post with dimensions I can get the plate drawn immediately and do any required edits quickly.

Best Regards,

Steve

PT manufactures hydraulic cylinders. I assume, but do not know as a fact, that they manufacture all hydraulic cylinders they use.

I am redesigning the attachment plate as to better suit the ability to build it without bending. Some of it is incorporated into my ripper. The new design should let one build it out of ¼” metal and be as strong as the 3/8. I will show a pic with dimensions later.

Is your Quick-Attach plate for the PT-425 made from 1/4 , and is the implement attaching plate 1/4 ? How do you think the PT-1445 will handle that plate, since the lifting plate is 5/8th, and the lift weight is 1800 lbs?

To any other users with the red PT, is your lifting plate the same thickness as the implement attaching plate, and what is the thickness?

Your timing is perfect as I am about to have a friend fabricate one for my 422...I'll be watching closely for any help you can offer on dimensions & size!

J.J. Doesn’t the 1445 have larger dimensions anyway? I was under the impression that the 1445 not only used thicker metal but was bigger as well? Every thing for the plate I am making will be of 1/4 but your guess is as good as mine as to weather 1/4" will handle the 1800 lbs. I would say that would be pushing it. Although with the right STRUCTURE 1/4" could handle a lot.
