How does one copy and post a HYD PDF or any PDF on TBN? If I copy the link, TBN says the file is to large.

When I select copy, and paste there is nothing there.

Are you guys taking screen shots and posting?

Why does TBN not allow copy and paste pictures. Is the file to large?

I'm pretty sure that .pdf and .exe file types are excluded from being attached, due to possible security exploits. This is the case on most forums. A ,pdf is different than a .jpg or .jpeg photo in that it requires a specific viewer.
If the .pdf file you'd like to share is located on the net, just posting a link to it would be the best bet. If it's one that you've created yourself or acquired and it resides on your computer, chances are that you'll have to host it on a site like Media Fire and post a link to it here.

Valid file extensions: bmp doc gif jpe jpeg jpg pdf png psd txt zip

it could be the physical size of the PDF file is to large for limits placed on users here on TBN.

what is the size of the PDF file?

===========
if you are wanting to copy paste from PDF.

you might try copying, and then pasting into "wordpad" and then copying from word pad into forum reply box,
if wordpad is tossing things out of uglyness, you might try "notepad" vs word pad. when copying into notepad it will generally clear and remove any special markup (bold, differeent size lettering and fonts) and make it all one single size font / size. vs wordpad that might keep it.

if PDF file is uploaded to some other website.
goto website and the link you click to view PDF file. instead of left clicking... right click, and select "copy link address" goto the reply box here on form, and paste the link in (CTRL + V keys) or right click paste.

Test: View attachment Loader+Weights.pdf

Edit: I just used the icon for "insert image" like one would do to insert a picture, then browsed for and selected the .pdf file. Now that I'm here in the edit mode and hit the "go advanced" edit mode, I see there's even more icons, the one that's a paperclip is "attachments" and would probably work too. But I see there's a 1 Mb limit going either route.

A box appears, saying that the file is to large.
