( Hmmmm......NAPA looked at me like I had three heads (they're used to seeing folks with two). I can get 80w-90 EVERYWHERE at about $30-$35 for 5 gallons. I cannot find straight 90w anywhere. Are there any online oil dealers?
My fluid is REALLY bad I think I'm going to change it to 80w-90 while I look for 90w. )

I had the same thing happan near me, but then I saw it on there shelfs. Give the number, they may still have it.

If you gave napa that number and they gave you grief about ordering it, just call in and ask for their regional managers number. That alone should get you service.. if not.. go ahead and call the regional manager and ask him why that store won't bring that oil in for you. Chances are it will be in the next day and the store clerk will not be setting down due to their sore backside.

I don't hesitate to go straight up the chain of command with napa. they seem to staff their stores with chronic underachievers ( no offense to you good napa poeple out there.. ).

Wallymart carries it too.. in some areas.

I guess I am lucky. In my aera the Napa's have a pretty good staff. Seems they higher people that pretty much know what they are doing. I am in the Biz myself, so I talk to a lot of local parts places. Now the Autozones, and PepBoys crews???? I will hold my comonts on them..

Stopped by a different NAPA this morning. They were alot more helpful. They said that they would have it by this afternoon.

Thanks for all the help

Ok....I hate to use up all my questions on this......
My tractor is about 40 miles away (at a new house I'm building) I'm going to change the Hyd/Tranny fluid on Sunday. Does anyone know what size sockets/wrenches I need for the drain plugs? Its a '51.
Just just have this haunting feeling that I'll drag all of my tools out there and end up forgetting or missing the one that I need.

You'll be pulling a pipe plug and two huge plugs. Frankly.. If I were you.. I'd take a big adjustable wrench and a pipe wrench. Thos plugs are notorious for sticking. Might also want a small cold chissle and mallet, and section of pipe. On really bad stuck ones I've tapped them around to get them started with a chissle.

Take some thin gasket paper.. or non-corrugated cardboard and a razor blade with you to cut new gaskets for the two big plugs. Thread tape or pucky fo rthe pipe plug. It usually tightens with no leaks.. but I've seen water damage on the CI threads before... better safe than sorry.
