hyd. valves

i was wondering if anyone has installed hyd valves on a kubota l3400, if so where did you get the parts and how hard was the installation. i would like to install 3 extra valves for tnt and other things. my local dealer says the valves are 850.00 for the first one because they have a speerate pump 425.00 for the pump and 425.00 for the valve pluss installation. then 425 for each valve after that. I was thinking of doing it myself it i caould get the parts. and it was not to complicated. thanks in advance for your help

Search in the Kubota and hydraulic forums, there are many guys that have done this with that tractor. And you do not need any other pump other than the ones that are on the tractor.

Go here and you will find many guys that have done this. I think that paulwestski is making a kit for these tractors. You might want to contact him and see if he is selling the kits yet.

What part of the tractor hyd will you use to feed the new valve?

So yu have any hyd in the back?

Do you have a hyd block below the right foot, with a screw to turn and some ports. My Kubota has the block, and I use the ports from this block to feed hoses to the back and to the log splitter. The fluid goes from the block to the hoses at he back, which are connected together with no log splitter, and back to the block, and then to the 3pt. The switch on the block will allow you to choose the path of the fluid.
