Hydralic Filter L295 DT

I was replacing the transmission fluid and dropped the spring and metal screen filter as I was removing it. What order and direction do they go? Top of filter screen first, which would put the solid metal plate at the bottom, then the spring, and then the o ring and mounting plate?? thanks, bob
