Hydraulic 3 point hitch Ford 5000

Working on a Ford 5000 project. Unable to get the hydraulics on the lift arms of the 3 poinh hitch working. I have replaced the piston seals the seals on the lift cover and he seals on the external hydrolics. The pump and the external hydrolics are working fine. I can lift the 3 point hitch by blowing compresed air into one of the lumens under the external valve controls. The external hydrolics also contenue working when the hydraulic valve is in either in or out position. any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.

did you clean the valves while you was working on the seals in the lift cylinder because there is two valves one is most likely stuck

I cleaned the valve that you pull to engage the external hyrolics. Have not worked on the valves in the cylinder.

There's a good chance that your external remote is stuck and causing the open-center system to block flow to the 3PH. If you get that valve fixed, the 3PH may work. Does your tractor also have a loader?

No loader. Are you takling about the valve that operates the external hydraulics on top of the cover or the selector valve?

I had a problem with my 72 ford 2000 with the lift arms .The Draft control leaver under the seat that lets the 3 point arms fall right down and float was rusted up under the cover in the valve. I removed those parts and it fixed it but it will not float anymore .

I'm thinking the external hydraulic valve may be a remote that routes all fluid to the remote circuit when it is operated. However, re-reading your post, it seems to be working fine. Sorry for the false alarm.
