Is this for ride control? If yes, several companies are already using this concept for construction and ag equipment. Most of them have a solenoid operated valve so you can choose when to use this feature and when you want to lock it out.

Any idea on what pressure you are going to be working with? Reason I ask is that I think there are some regulations on hydraulic pressure allowed next to people in an enclosed or restrained environment.

Yes it is for ride control, I want to make it a little bit smoother, could you give me an example of a company that is using this. I would like to see what exactly they're using. The PSI will be fairly low, probably below 1500.

John Deere has a Hydraulic front axle suspension system on some of their tractors. They call it Triple-Link-Suspension (TLS) 6030 & 7030 series have availible. Uses hydraulic cylinders and accumulators (3)

John Deere also has a loader suspension system (LSS). It uses an accumulator with an valve to shut off system teed into the line to the loader lift cylinders. Lift side of the cylinders.

JCB & I believe BobCat have similar systems to what JD is using.

When I referred to not wanting to use air, I meant that I don't want to have a compressor on the system to rejuvenate air, like you have to with an airbag system.

There is no compressor required, you just precharge the accumulator with air/nitrogen and unless there is a leak, there is no loss of pneumatic pressure.

Very interesting! I think youll need to use a small accumulator for each wheel to in effect make a tunable spring damper system. They are a bit more expensive than I thot but McMcarr is not the cheap supplier. May not have to go with the top pick bladder style.
