Grading Hydraulic Blade for 6200/7200 on a BX?

Does anyone know if a hydraulic blade for a 6200/7200 would work on a BX1800?

It would really depend on how wide and heavy. The B6200 and B7200 are physically larger tractors and could possibly handle a bigger box. We have found that a 48" is the best fit for BX1800 & BX2200 tractors.

Thanks for the information, but I see I wasn't clear. It is a front blade and I am wondering if it would attach to my BX1800.

surfran; The BX could "handle" a front blade from the 6200-7200 machines, but mounting would require modifications. Front blades and MMM's are very specific when it comes to attaching. If you are handy with a welder, and have a deal on the blade, go for it /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Thanks a lot. That was what I kinda figured, but didn't know for blades. There is one here in our paper for $250. Which could be a steal, but I don't have a welder, and don't really think the wife will let me buy one for a while. She is already reading me the riot act since we just got the tractor and I am looking for more "tools"....... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
