Hello
I am in the process of adding a hydraulic cylinder to my box blade to retract the scarifier bar.I'm inbetween ideals to hook it up directly to the bar or should I install a solid stop or cam over.My main concern if hooked up directly it may put too much strain on cylinder, bleed back,or wreck my control valve.
This box blade is over 1200 lbs and will be pulled by a 4x4 75 hp tractor.I think this could put alot of strain on the cylinder.I think I have a ideal to incorporate a solid stop so the scarifier bar will not put pressure on cylinder in the down position.Any comments would be appreciated.
Thanks Rex!
