You can do it on the fly with the electric motor. Just mount the switch on the loader control lever just as if it were a diverter button for a grapple attachment. I'd use a smaller rocker switch that you can place just under the ball on the lever. You should be able to easily operate it with your index finger. ANd as Von said you can get those motors for under 20 bucks!
