Tractor
Kubota B7500
I purchased a add on Hydraulic control for my B7500. The tractor has a 302 FEL. The dealer told me that an instruction manual would be included. The instruction manual consisted of 2 pages of paper, one of which was a parts list and the other referred to other hose kits. No help there.
Does anyone know of a set of instructions to install these kits? I understand that you can stack controls but first the control must be mounted somewhere on the tractor. The kit comes with a 3 piece mounting bracket but does give a hint where it should be mounted on the tractor.

I don't know enough about hydraulics to answer where, but what did you pay for the kit? Is it for a rear hydraulic outlet?

That sounds like a rear remote outlet kit. They don't come with instructions other than hose routing. I am not familiar with that model, but All Kubota's other than the ag tractors are power beyond so you have to change the configuration of the blanking plate at the hydraulic outlet block (usually located under the tractor on the right hand side facing forward). The kits are pretty expensive, depending on how many outlets you buy. The maximum is 3 and because the poster stated that he had a 3 block, it leads me to presume it's rear remotes. Installing them is really straightforward but you usually have to remove the rh side wheel and some sheet metal, unless you have very small hands. The poster needs to show a picture of the kit, and/or part number. One final note, all remotes on Kubota's either come with a float option or just push/pull. I always install one float and 2 push/pull. The couplers are Pioneer design. To engage, just shove in the tip, to dis-engage, push in harder and pull back.

I'll go out in the shop and take a picture of mine and post it.

Hi cchoate
Yes the kit is for a rear Hydraulic outlet.
I paid $365.00 plus tax. This is for the control only. You still have to purchase the hoses to route it to the rear.

Hi 5030
The kit number is FL7303. This is for the control only. There are 3 brackets included in the kit to mount the control but no information on where it should be mounted. I will post some pictures tomorrow of the kit parts. The control is a one way control.

I didn't have time to take a picture of my 5030's hydraulic outlets today as we have somewhat of a personal emergency going on here. One of our draft horses got hurt pretty bad and it's kind of touch and go right now......
I'll take some pictures tomorrow, however.

Without the pictures, however, usually, at least on the Grand L's, there is a blanking plate on the top of the transmission housing that the control block mounts too. The block is then bolted somewhere on the side of the transmission and the control levers are routed up through the sheet metal seat pan and terminate next to the seat. Most every tractor that Kubota makes that I have looked at has a place next to the seat where the lever(s) protrude.

I installed the 3 sets of remotes on my L-3710 myself. The complete kit for that tractor was about $1300.00. it included everything- valve block, bolts, levers, hoses, termination block and like you, not very good instructions. Usually, like I stated before, if you only get one valve, it will usually have a float detent. It will push, pull and if you move the lever all the way forward, it will float. With the kit, there should be a bracket that mounts on the rear of the tractor, usually on the right side facing forward. That's where the termination block mounts. I surprised as to the fact that no hoses were included as Kubota color codes the hoses to match the valve block. When you mount the valve block to the transmission, you must pre-lubricate the o rings in UDT and assemble the unit wet, otherwise it will not seal.

Like I said, tomorrow I'll take some pictures of the 5030's outlets. I also just so happen to have an assembly instruction sheet for the block on the 5030. I don't know if I can scan it and post it or not, I'll have to ask a moderator.

TractorSmart has descriptions and part numbers for everything that is required for rear auxiliary rear remote valves. Just go to Kubota, then B Series and scroll down to B Series Auxiliary Hydraulics.

It looks like you still need a hose kit and the hydraulic block.

Re: Hydraulic control install information for B750

albee,

My dealer told me the B series remote kits mount to the ROPS.

Good luck,
Michael

Thanks Checked out Tractorsmart.com and found I had the wrong kit. I ordered the correct one. No wonder I could not make sence of the mounting brackets.
Great site for Kubota parts. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Albee:

Here are the pictures of my outlets, control levers and hose routing. The back of my 5030 is pretty busy. I have a bailer control outlet on the left side (not pictured) and a 7 way SAE J60 outlet which shows in the pictures. The first picture shows the placement of the control levers in the cab. You can see that they come up through the seat pan. They are on the right side facing forward. All my Kubota's had them in this general location and on the right side.
