I have a Deere 6210. One of the hydraulic couplers will a) pop the coupled hose out on pressure and b) blow fluid out under pressure--like a quart in a couple seconds, high pressure. Are other any simple things to look for? Can I rebuild the coupler or should I buy a new one, its about $90.

I was going to tell you to try and wash the coupler out with a can of brake clean but the fact that you lose about a quart of hydraulic fluid suggests that the ball in the coupler isn't sealing it off when the male end pops out. You could relieve the pressure in the coupler and push the ball in with a wooden dowel and see if there isn't some debris stuck in there. the debris might also be keeping the coupler from gripping the male end to hold it in place the way it was designed to do. If you can't find anything them your best bet is to replace the coupler. Also check the male end against a known good one and see if there is any wear on it.

Some manufacturers have rebuild kits.

Who made the coupler, and what is the number on the QD?

Check with these guys for a replacement ser.
