I have been searching for a (AM39525) lift cylinder for my JD 359 snowblower for sometime now. It was discontinued by Deere so I am trying to find a replacement any way possible. Any ideas?

If you go onto the JDParts website and search a #47 snowblower, you will find that the cylinder # AM126765 has the identical stoke (4.5"), diameter (.875"), closed length (9.5"), etc.

The piece that it mounts into for the chute control uses the same part number as well (AM39636). It sure isnt cheap though.

I am in the same situation as you.

I know this has been forever, but I'm in the same boat now (2024). The AM126765 Cylinder is now changed up to AM147212, which is available for a PRICE. Can anyone determine if it's the same s the original AM39525? HELP!!
