Not sure what you call it, but the knob you turn to control the down speed on the 3pt is bent on my XG3135. It's not the knob and shaft that's bent, its the stud that it threads on to. It's bent enough to where the shaft (PN 40234884 [No 12] G826S01-01 Hydraulic Cylinder) hits the sheet metal.

Looking at the parts site for "G826S01-01 Hydraulic Cylinder" the threaded piece it connects to (PN 40008161 [No 16]) seems to be where the bend happened. I can't tell if that's a simple fix or not. Has anyone been into that assembly? I didn't want to tear it apart to find I need some special tool or something. If it's straight forward I'll fix it, else I'll just live with it. I can't tell from the parts site much detail.

Thanks.

That should unbolt at the big nut behind your arrow. The whole shaft should come out. It is simply like a needle valve.... screw it in, the hole gets smaller until the needle end seals it off.

There should be a spring or parts that will fall out. You may loose some hydraulic fluid.

I will look in the service manual and if there are any instructions for this, I'll post the section here.

That's all that is in the service manual in regards to the valve. Hope this helps.

You might be able to bend it back a little bit, just to make it easier to turn.... do this at your own risk.... it could break part of the cover or the valve body.

Thanks! The steel they use doesn't seem too great, and it's a difficult part to straighten. I'll add it to my list of small things to replace.

I reassembled it, set it, and didn't put the knob/handle back on. I always have it wide open anyways.
