Hope I dont get drummed out for this,.... LOL
I have a Gehl CTL 70 Basicly a Mustang MTL 20 Track Loader.
It has a 19.8 GPM pump that runs at a max of approx 2760 psi
I am contemplating making a log splitter for it but I need to determine how much force it would generate with a 4.5 bore cylinder. I think the rod is right at 2 inch of that matters.
I used to have a Excel Sheet that would calculate this for me but no more...
I am conflicted on doing this as I would loose my skid steer for hauling the wood out while someone else runs the splitter... But I am sure I can figure out the logistics of the change if it occurs.
Thanks in advance.
Jeff
