I have a question regarding the hydraulic system on my TC25D. Does anyone know of a way to increase the flow rate on the hydraulic system that runs the FEL and backhoe attachments? My guess is that I'm stuck with what I've got, but I just wanted to check. I wondered if any "tinkerers" out there have fitted a different pump and gotten away from the OEM unit. Maybe a modification to the OEM pump will work. Any suggestions?

You could add a pto powered pump, would probably be cheaper in the long run, rather than risk messing up the factory pump.

I havn't looked at the pump schematics.. but doubt that it has any restrictor plates or bushings. Keep in mind that while you may be able to change out the pump with a larger model, that the drive where this pump gets its power from the engine is only rated at a specific load... a huge monster pump may load the system excessively, breaking the drive shaft / coupler.. then you're in trouble..
