I don't like to mix different hydraulic/transmission fluids myself....but it that a rational fear? Many tractors have aux. hydraulic outlets front and rear for hooking up to other hydraulic equipment. In fact, our M59 was manufactured to accept standard skid steer front implements, and of course the whole skid steer and Bobcat world is always using rental equipment. Anything you rent that has hydraulics that hook up to your tractor is guaranteed to contaminate our pristine fluid with some variable amount of mystery fluid - and after we do that a few times who knows what we're running in there. And yet people don't seem to have problems from it. That's a pretty large sample size and all telling us not to worry so much.
