A recent post by me indicated that diesel fuel had overfilled the crankcase of a L 235 Kubota. Big mistake by me. The culprit was actually hydraulic fluid.

Thanks to all of those who tried to help.

I now have all available manuals for this model and the only possibility that I can see for the hydraulic fluid to escape it's normal containment is the pump seal on the hydraulic pump. After pricing a hydraulic pump, I need to be sure that it is the most likely part to be defective.

Anyone got any idea as to some other entrance point for the hydraulic fluid to enter the crankcase?

Thanks,
PapaTJ

I just bought an L285 Kubota and I do not have amanual for the tractor. Can someone indicate where and what kind of fluid I need to use for the Hydraulics. I was advised that 30 motor oil is best. But where do I pour it into the vehicle. can someone please help.
