New member here...had water in the hydraulic/transmission fluid and followed the excellent advice found here about draining the old fluid and adding 20 litres of diesel to flush the system. Finished that this evening and when I drained the diesel, it was still quite discoloured (light-coffee colour).
Should I repeat the diesel flush? Note...I didn't clean the filter as I was not comfortable getting it back together.
Second question...when I drove the tractor around with the diesel in the hydraulic sump, I just drove around our neighbourhood block in H1 for about 5 minutes. Was this ok? Should I have engaged the PTO?
Appreciate any feedback.
