I can remember being so deep in the boonies that i couldn't get cell phone coverage.. was stranded out on the tractor.. had driven it to the property.. have a fuel filter plug up from a tank of bad fuel.. I found that If i stood on the canopy above the rops.. and kinda held my arm up inthe air.. I went from -no signal- to -signal with 0 bars- Was enough to get a call out to my cousin to come pick me up. I had to kick it to speaker phone cuz every time I took it down to my ear, the call dropped...
That was a wonderfull day of me bonding with my tractor. Cousin ran me to the store to get a new filter, and my tool box and dropped me back off as he ahd to go to work. Was a fit changing the filter and the fuel tap out without loosing all my fuel.. I posted about this back when it happened. As i said before... the diesel running down my arm while laying on the ground under the tractor kept most of the ants off of me. Had just enough fuel left over to get home after that shebang...
