Yeah I work a lot. Then on top of that I try to farm. That's exactly why I bought new equipment. Had I known things would be as they are I would have saved the money and bought used. Then I might not have been so upset to have to work on it.
The fel works fine nothing is stuck there. Just the lines pulse. It's like the tractor is continuing to try to lift the 3 pt arms. I can't find anything wrong. If it weren't for knowing I'll most likely be without a tractor for a while when the dealer finally does come get it I wouldn't fool with it. But since I know it will take them forever to do anything I figure I'll try to troubleshoot it myself.
I geuss this is the excuse I been looking for to buy the John Deere I always wanted.

Further inspected the situation today. Rolled my tractor off (since it won't start at the key) and the hydraulics didn't immediatly raise what had leaked off. They won't go any lower though. With the isolation valve on they won't move in response to the lever at all, so it is working. However if you have it off and pull the lever up a little it raises to full height immediatly and tries to keep going thus pulsing the fel lines and whining at the arms. It would seem something in the down control or the release at the pump is malfunctioning. Gonna call the dealer today just to ask again when he is gonna come get it.

Keep in mind, Mahindra doesn't cover pick-up and deliver charges under warranty, no matter what the circumstance is. I've tried hard to get these charges myself on warranty claims. Sounds like your dealer would service the unit if you could get it to him. Why would you expect more from a dealer?

Have you hauled a 6000 lately? It is a pretty heavy pull. I spent over $40000 with this dealer last year and he can't come pick up my tractor? I see the Deere and MF, Kubota dealer in and out of here all the time to do service on their machines. You would think a dealer would appreciate the guy who is willing to pay him to service his tractor, as was the agreement when I bought it. We discussed specifically that I wanted him to come and service it while it was under warranty thus there would be no question about trouble if I had it. Oh yeah by the way how am I gonna start the pos once I haul it to the dealer you have to roll it off? Bottom line the guy should service the junk he sells!

I don't know how the hydraulics are plumbed on that model of tractor. But, if it isn't the lower speed control, I would check to see if it is a hydraulic quick disconnect unhooked. Just because they look to be connected doesn't mean they are. Push each set together or take them a part and then reconnect them.

I hope you don't think you are not going to have problems with the Deeres

My dealer has picked up my tractor, 6500 4WD three times and brought it back on warranty issues. This has not cost me anything out of pocket. When they had it for 3 weeks they brought another tractor to hay with. I would buy another tractor from Riverside Equipment in Berlin, VT.

I agree. My Mahindra dealer assured me that the transportation for warranty repairs would be covered by them. I don't think most people who use a tractor will have a full outfit for highway transport. I can't speak for whether mahindra covers this in the warranty or not. If they don't, the dealer should be figuring this cost into the final sale price.

Transport isn't covered under warranty, but a lot of dealers will do it for free.

In regards to the 3PH, it sounds like a valve problem to me, maybe even a clogged screen or filter.

UPDATE:
Talked with the dealer today and was told starter has been replaced and they are waiting on parts for the hydraulics. Seems a piston stuck somewhere and now they need a new pistons and sleeve. Said it should be ready in about a week. I'm still not happy period but I'm somewhat appeased. Talked to the owner/ dealer today and he was very apoligetic about how things had gone.
