The $22 to replace both hoses is a little steep for a 5" piece of bent hose but it sure is cheaper than an office visit, and very easy to change....hopefully thats the problem...;)
NH has a kit that eliminates the need for the curved (90 degree) hoses.

Good to know that it's probably a simple fix. I was actually thinking about trading up to new TC40DA this winter. This may just expedite the decision.
