I won't go into specifics because it is too embarrassing, but somehow I managed to incorrectly plumb the hydraulic lines on my LB402 Front End Loader. It happened when I had 8 new lines made and only thought I had a good system of labeling the locations. In retrospect, I should have only removed one side (4 line as they are symmetrical) and left the other side to use as an installation guide. So, I find myself with hydraulic lines installed and the front end loader acting as though it has a mind of its own.

The lines I am talking about are attached to the metal lines running width wise on the loader. You can see them when you sit on the tractor and look at the bucket. What I am thinking would be the easiest is if someone could take a picture of there LB402 routing and post it. I think a picture of only one side would work. That way it would allow a view to be taken of both the metal lines and where the flexible lines are attached on the actuators.

Any other assistance would be welcome. I have tried to find something on line but they all want my credit card number and that is going to be my last resort.

Thanks in advance to all.

Can you not put a hyd gage into the loader QD's and determine which line has pressure?

That is an option I have not considered but I will certainly give it some thought.

Thanks for the idea.

We have a B-2710 with LA402 FEL. I can take some pictures for you but, won't get back to the ranch until Friday.

That would be great if not too much trouble. I won't be able to work on the tractor this weekend anyway. I am rebuilding the trailer that I use to haul it around.

Thanks

Thanks for the assistance, Leejohn. I think this will certainly help and I will take time from working on my trailer to see if I can get the lines routed correctly.

Again, I certainly appreciate your response.

Take care.

Just make sure each steel line supplies the same thing, as in both curl/dump cylinders head ends to one steel line, rod ends to one steel line, etc.
You should be able to tell at the valve which pair of lines each valve operates, as in the boom cylinder and the bucket cylinders.
But then a picture is worth a 1,000 words.

Leejohn, thanks for the part number and pictures. This save me a trip to the dealer. Don Witt
