Nope. You need custom hoses the exact length.
Premade stuff is usually in 6" or 12" increments.....and you dont want to be too short (obviously) but too long is also just as bad on a backhoe. Everything is tight and you dont have room to "waste" 8" of extra hose somewhere that isnt needed.
And besides that....most "premade" hoses have JIC fittings that match the hose size. IE.....1/2" hose and 1/2" (-08) Jic ends. And Im pretty sure most them old ford backhoes upsized the fitting one notch. So a 1/2" hose would have a 5/8" JIC end crimped on.
And when it comes to backhoes....hose routing can be a PITA. Do the hoses one at a time OR tank VERY detailed drawings, pictures, and label EVERTHING.
But for them ones that are tough to route.....or some that run through the boom or swing post......when you pull out the OLD hose (because you need to do that to take a measurement)....while pulling the hose out, have a string tied to the other end so that the string ends up in place of the hose.
When installing the new hose, tie one end to the string and pull it back through.
