Thanks for the insight J_J.

HOWEVER, you underestimate my ability to turn something simple, into something overly complex! :confused2:

The problem is that I have never seen the diverter mod performed on the chassis I have (1529/1532), at least not that I could find on the forum, so I would be clawing in the dark as to what steps to take. It would be ideal if I could find an electronically operated valve that has the same mating dimensions as the Massey manual remote valve - then I could bolt it to the rear tranny just like the OEM install, and not have to deal with an extra lever. If that existed, it would be great.

I can walk you through this whole process. Very easy. $649 for the whole system shipped to your door. Nice diverter valve, nice control grip with switch built into the grip, button or trigger. Hoses, bulkhead with QDs, cover and plug for the QDs. Custom hoses to fit your tractor. Look at the directions that JJ posted, that is what you would be doing, all very easy. Hardest thing is deciding where to mount the diverter valve.

If you want to do the whole thing yourself, here is a good place to start for most if not all of your parts.

Decisions, decisions. ;)

Now you guys have got me thinking. I'll take a look at the loader valve this weekend to see what would be involved for my setup.

However, deciding where to mount a diverter is easier said than done in my case. I have no means of fabricating brackets and the like that I've seen other members do, so not entirely sure how I would even attach it.

Not out of the realm of possibility, just a little more involved than the OEM remote valve install which is literally removing a cover plate, mounting valve, bolting plate to valve, connect hoses, lever, done.

No reason to look at the valve at all. All the plumbing will originate at the QDs for the curl circuit. Only reason to look at the valve is to look at the joystick to install the new control grip. If you can drill a few holes and tighten a few bolts, run some electrical wire, you will be good to go.
