Bx25 is just over a year old and I can't figure out why once the tractor has been used for an hour the hydraulic groan/squeel when they have reached the top position. At the 50 hour fluid/filter changes, that was all done by the dealer, it was still present, and I have checked the fluid level and it seemed fine. Not so easy to check hydraulic fluid thats the consistency of water with a dipstick! Any suggestions?

Sounds like after the oil gets hot, it is bypassing some where in the hydraulic system. If you hold a control lever after reaching the end of the cyl stroke, most tractors will do this. Ken Sweet

Ken Sweet is right about "If you hold a control lever after reaching the end of the cyl stroke"

... Is this happening at the top of the 3pt lift... If you have it at slightly less than calling for all the way up, is it still making that sound? If not then It is out of adjustment and is not canceling out the input from the control... simple external adjustment... KennyV

Thank you for your input guys. I will have to pick up a shop manual and look for the adjustment then. Yes it only happens at the very top. So it only happens for a split second until I release the lever. But its still annoying. It only happens with the 3PH and MMM lever. Thank you again.

If it centers after you release it, It probably is not much too worry about. Still, best to check the manual. Ken Sweet

This is normal. What you are hearing is the relief valve opening. The noise should be the same with the FEL if you bottom out a cylinder or try and lift more that it is capable.

Mine just started doing the same thing, and no matter what people say on here it is my opinion that it is not normal. If this sound was normal it would have been there since day one. Anyway, I am still trying to figure out with my dealer what the cause is, I will let you know what I find out. The dealer did say that it is not a normal bypass sound.....which I knew anyway. Once this sound starts (after about an hour) mine will even make it while rolling the FEL down, there is no way that the pump should be in bypass while rolling.
