. Your 3ph valve diverts pressurized flow it does not create pressure nor flow. When not diverted to raise the implement the pressurized flow goes to the reservoir.
One thing to note, when the three point hitch and other valves in a open center hydraulic system are in the neutral position, the pressure in the system is very low, 300PSI to 500PSI in a cold system at high idle in the winter, 75PSI to 150PSI on a hot system at idle in the summer.
The pressure does not build to the rated 1500PSI-3000PSI until it encounters resistance such as when you tell it to lift the 3 point hitch and it has to lift the weight of the impliment.
As such, it could be argued that the resistance created by the three-point hitch creates the pressure.

That is still pressurize flow. If you do not have pressurized flow, your pump is malfunctioning!
Take for example how it feels at full flow on your home faucet, flow flow is very low. 20-40 psi, but if you restrict that pressure with a spray nozzle on a garden hose on the same home, you have jumped that pressure is now at the low end psi that you say a ‘flow-through’ hydraulic system is at and maybe slightly higher. Now consider a pin sized hole on that same garden hose with the end valve (nozzle) shut. I have never seen that pressure measured but I have seen what that stream can do to house framing when it continues long term. What would it do to your skin in just a few seconds?
My opinion it is a system to have huge respect toward, certainly not one to leave an impression of a system that is under no pressure when running! Oh and all petroleum products (gear oil, hydraulic fluid, diesel, and coolant) in our tractors are consider a source of poison to the human body

The Hyd. lines on my YM2000 are all Aluminum with O-rings at the connections on the pump and 3Pt.. Pin holes aren't going to happen. There is a small section cut with a rubber adapter that may leak. But it's a Heavy grade and not likely. And all the connections are so open and visible it's highly doubtful you won't see the oil leaking on them. I made a living dealing with a variety of water pumps at a store with Commercial Maint. and repairs and my guess 35-40 PSI. open return. A water hose and spray nosel if that.........

It is sad when 1 finds someone to hate that he has never seen to anyone’s knowledge from a distance even, but had to take issue with every post he sees from a selected individual. Even to point that he not only has choice words to call this unseen unknown person but even criticizes said selected person’s equipment with similar names as he has deemed for said unknown person.

My typical response to name callers is that they label others with what they know best, their personal behaviors that they daily engage in!

But today being Sunday:
Lord Jesus, I do not know Coreyo63 from Adam, but I lift him up to you. Touch his heart and life as only you can. Forgive him as he like all of mankind has sinned against you and you only. Father pour out blessings upon him this day. Lord under the ability that comes from you and you alone, today I forgive him for his name calling of me and his behavior toward me. Thank you Lord Jesus for all the blessings you give each of us daily. I claim this in your Holy name Jesus!

I was correcting missinformation about pin holes and Hyd. lines. I'm a big Catholic save it for yourself and your clan!! And at least learn my name or how to spell it A/W.....

Thank you for your loving response. Sorry for the miss letter in your name. But I am human and make errors.
Sorry for a misunderstanding, the local to be catholics I know believe in Jesus. By the way Jesus lives you!
