Hydraulic oil change--any tips for refilling??

I have not tried it . I wonder if this shaker / siphon hose will work?

I doubt this would be satisfactory. For openers, the full bucket would have to be higher than the fill port and the hose would need (somehow) to be held near the bottom of the bucket. Even then, the relatively thick oil would flow slowly, if at all.

Set a large, clean bucket up high on the tractor. Put some tubing from your fill hole into the bucket. Pour some new oil in the bucket and tilt it to get the air out of the tube. After that, just keep pouring your new oil containers into the bucket.

Finally did it today--warm temps and sunny skies. I went to Walmart and bought a 34 quart storage bin with nice low sides. Started by draining the out drives first and transferring the 4+ gallons of oil to old gallon jugs I had saved. Then came the black hydraulic filter and the orange HST filter and finally the big, magnetic drain plug. I found just one metallic shaving that looked like a drill turning. Then came the hardest part--refilling. I duck taped a long neck funnel to the top link I suspended from the retaining hook and refilled one gallon at a time after transferring the oil into a 5 qt. jug from the two five gallon pails I bought at TSC. Total cost was $68 for the oil, $68 for the two filters, $7 for the bin and $6 for the beer. Thanks to all of you for your suggestions.
