On all of my Kubotas have done the 50 hour and changed all the fluid and after comparing old and new thought it was worth it. Let it settle out in the pan for a while and poured the top off and there was quite a bit of fines left in the remaining fluid.

I replace all fluids when due with the appropriate Kubota fluids and filters. At the cost of the equipment it is not worth risking anything! I wonder how many microns a T shirt filters at?

I drained all the oil in mine at the 50 HR even though the manual stated at 400 HR. After seeing what was in the strainer and filter plus the debris in the drain pan I was glad I had. No way would I reuse just by straining. Dump it all now and chage it all, you may be glad you did.

Just a quick question. I had a B7500 and remembered discarding all the fluid when doing the 50hr service

Looking at the service manual for my new L2501 it says just change the filter

I plan on draining ALL the hydraulic fluid and replace with Kubota 鉄uper

You can sure strain it. But...it's gotta be thru an American Made all 100% cotton (US grown cotton) T shirt. Then it will work good.

If you are worried about throwing it away, I use mine in the chain lube tank on my chainsaw to lube the chain. Also works good to prevent rust on metal surfaces & don't have to worry about contamination in gear boxes & trans..

Also mix 1/3 SUDT with Bar Oil in winter for the chainsaw. The MF35 also gets the settled oil.
