CHECK YOUR OWNERS MANUEL--IT SHOULD GIVE YOU A SPEC. #. IF YOU DON'T HAVE A BOOK, LOOK IT UP ON LINE.

My G series manual: other than the three Bobcat branded hydraulic fluids, the specs are 4C to 49C+...VG100; minimum VI 130. For -40C to 27C, VG46; minimum VI 150

I once looked up what oil Mobil had that would match those specs....Mobil DTE 10 Excel 46 VI 164

Not cheap oil though....I bought the Bobcat brand because the price wasn't bad and I can get it down the road.

Are you just needing to add some?

Make sure the boom is down and the bucket is curled up when checking the level.

What do you have locally? Just a cheap yellow label hydraulic fluid may work for a old tractor but should not be in a skidsteer type system.:2cents:

In the Versahandler I use 10W-40 motor oil, because of this reference in the service manual:

The hydraulic fluid part number 6903117 is the same for Toolcat:

No the Toolcat is new enough that it has not been changed.
