As AK responded, You do not "loose" anything. In fact I "gained" two remotes in my project!

If your primary reason is for a snowplow, then you could just add a electric diverter to the loader controls, I did this also. By doing this you effectively get the 3 controls you need for the plow, and you don't have to run hoses from the rear of the machine all the way to the front of the loader.

You can search for "diverter" for lots of reading on that subject. Here is the LINK to my install. There are MANY threads on this.

As far as the JD option for the 3rd remote, we are all waiting to see what they come up with...

That is the exact one I installed on my FEL, but I only paid $150.00 for it

You can also call WR Long and get a price on thier kit, which I think is about $550.00 or so, but comes with all the hoses and fittings for the install.
