It may be a compression type fitting. Depending on the tubing length/bend it may have to be replaced.

Well the leak is stopped so far. I pushed the pipe in further.

I had no problem opening the bucket pic the first time, but it won't open now.
Was a good pic of the return line and the hyd. filter housing like the schematic I found on jdparts.

OP just needs to put pics in .jpg format and the click the "Go Advanced" button by the "quick reply" which leads to the "Manage Attachments" button to click for finding and loading pics. Easy after learning the routine.

Glad to hear the leak stopped.. hope it stays stopped in the future.

If you have a front end loader, it can be difficult to slide the pipe far enough forward to get it out of the filter housing due to the loader mounting frame. In those cases it is probably easier to remove the filter housing. Just be sure to also replace the seal between the filter housing and transmission if you remove it. You will also need to drain transmission oil.
