Own a 1974 ford 2000 3cy gas. In the process of restoring took off seat, took off plate that seat was attached to. that plate was held down by two bolts, front was regular bolt, rear was bolt\pin that does something with hydraulics. after assembly lift still works fine but lift will not go as far down as it did before pulling that bolt\pin. pulled big spring off and cover on rear secured with 3 bolts. looked to me that bolt\pin goes inter a groove. making sure it was in the groove reassembled. still lift wont go down as far as it did before. any help would be appreciated. thanks.
