Hydraulic Pump Destruction

On my KM554 with Koyker 195, the loader valve stays on the tractor when the loader is removed. I am assuming that I am therefore protected from this problem.

I would think the engine load would be noticeable if you were running all of the fluid through a 2500 psi relief valve. That said it would be cool to have a hydraulic pressure gauge on the dash plumbed to the outlet of the pump. With a little calibration I could use the loader as a scale!.

Brad,That's how mine is set up...like yours....that's why I asked. Your loader valve should have a power beyond and sump return on it.

I sold my Jinma 224. I didn't sell it because I didn't like it but I needed a bigger tractor. I moved a lot of gravel, dirt, augered holes with it and it performed pretty well. It had the slight problems like everyone elses but for the price it got the job done. I bought a kubota a few weeks ago and have 25 hours on it already. I bought more property so that was the reason I needed more tractor. I hjave a jinma hydraulic pump for sale on ebay that was a spare for mine. It was weeping fluid and I put a rebuild kit in it so its as good as new. If anyone cares to view it on ebay you're welcome.

You are a great bunch of guys and have great comaradirie. Yous' were a great help when I asked questions about my Jinma and the Parts suppliers were great also in the fast delievery of the goods. I look down an Orange hood now but I appreciated the Red hood and Black Koyker loader also.
