Hi, can any one tell me why on my John Deere 5225 with 162 hours
I have to already replace the rear hydraulic quick coulpers?
Their the push pull type. I have to allmost slide the tractor to
ingage & disengage them (yes the pressure is off both the valve & cylinder side). The dealership said their having trouble with a few of the models.
Is there a easy fix?

Replace them, it is about as easy as it gets!

Try removing them from the hose and bulkhead assembly and see if they will engage easily. Look inside the female fitting and see if there is any debris/trash in it, if so clean it. Pull the sleeve back and look at the row of bearings in the female part. If the bearings are rusty, they could prohibit connection.

Thanks for the help! I hope the couplers don't need
replacing every 162 hours at $45 a piece.
You sure would think with all the design software
educateded engineers CNC's we could do better.
