Hydraulic Sickle Mower for Skid Steer/Gehl Power Beyond

I like the concept. In my experience, apple branches will destroy those knives.

This matter has not been resolved. I fail to see how those delicate knives should cut what they claim they will cut.

Another annoying, most annoying problem I have is the sickle coming out of it's locked position. It is not adjusted to maximum release tension, which I will try but a spring loaded arm would have been better in my opinion.

As for your hydraulics. You would also need a flow control so the sickle runs the same speed regardless of engine rpm.

Got it. I wonder if there is a better bucket mounted sickle.

The Tiger Boom Mower is another. But it really must come down to the sickle sections.

I know this is an old thread, but I was looking at the Samurai as a potential one mower fits all application for my property (laneway, hedges, slow going sickle for larger areas). Those teeth do not look good after one session...

Do they have an option for straight edge teeth, without serrations? The current teeth remind me of "Eversharp" laser sharpened for life knives that were all the rage a few years back. My experience was they were never that sharp out of the box, edge tended to "curl/roll" and they needed professional equipment to sharpen, if that was even possible...

Are there any alternatives to this product? I like the fel mounted approach, but I would rather not get a knife replacement hobby...
