Hydraulic Top Link: 4300 JD

I have been reading the posts about hydraulic top links and am considering adding one to my 4300 JD. Besides the link itself what else will I need to complete the job and how to I go about installing it. I have a FEL and I am guessing that I have to come off the hydraulics on the front of the tractor. Any help, especially pictures would be appreciated.

I guessing that you'll need the 3rd SCV kit. That will give you the hydraulic ports on the rear fender where you'll need them for the toplink. The instructions included with the kit are pretty good.

Thanks for the response. Any idea what the part # is for the 3rd SCV I need. Does it come with hoses and/or are there other parts needed to complete the conversion?

The third SCV part number is LVBM19694. My dealer will sell it for $207.14. It will come with everything to get you hydraulic power to the new outlets at the rear AND a new RH armrest with the control lever for this SCV. It will NOT come with hoses to go from there to your new top link, however. You can probably find pictures and a list of what all is included at the JD Parts site.
