Being able to tap into the experience of many of you on tbn has offered ideas and solutions that I did not realize existed. While it has certainly helped lighten my wallet, it has also saved me by helping make the right choice the first time. So a genuine thanks!

I have ordered the 2910 telescoping stabilizers for my 7610, and plan to order a set of Pat's in the next day or two if he ships to Canada. I called my dealer to get info. on finding the proper hydraulic top link to fit my tractor. He must have thought I was from outerspace when I explained what I wanted to do, and proceeded to tell me he had no seen such a thing done in 26 years. He assured me that I would just end up damaging my tractor. Could someone tell me what I need to know to do the top link change over? Correct size of piston? Where to order from? The previous owner installed rear hydraulic line to run a small dump trailer. Thanks in advance.

I bought a 2" dia hydraulic top link from CCM. I forget the length, but just measure you existing top link at its extremes, and tell CCM those numbers.

I also have the pats, length works great for all implements, raised/lowered etc... I have since cleaned up the temporay install with 90 degree fittings and shorter hyd lines...

Gearmore sells one. You can just buy the "Top" of the Top and Tilt. A dealer should be able to get Gearmore stuff. See attached.

I am starting to think that the rear hydraulic setup on my tractor is simply an on/off unit for use with a dump trailer. I have nothing to test it with. There is a box mounted beside my loader valve with a single arm on it and two hoses running to the rear. The pics above should help me. If not I know where to come. Whoever said ignorance is bliss, sure was ignorant!!!

I recall someone from Canada calling CCM and finding out they don't ship to Canada, but could be wrong. I've read a lot of our northern neighbors getting hydraulic cylinders, hoses, and such from Princess Auto. I got all my HTL parts from Surplus Center, except the remotes, which was a Kubota OEM kit. Again, I'm not sure SC ships to Canada.

Just measure your current top link all the way closed and open and look for one that closely matches those lengths.

I thought with all those long cold dark winter nights you would have had time to figure out that the little paper clip looking thingy at the top middle of the message box will let you attach photos. We all like pictures, people have even started threads just to encourage others to post more pictures.
