Hydraulic top link for a JD 855

I have a new to me, 1994 JD 855. I would like to install a hydraulic top link in place of the current manual turn screw. The tractor appears to have only 4 hydraulic ports and one SCV. At present, this SCV controls the FEL. Is this a viable option for this tractor? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks, Bill

It is possible, but not cheap...

HTL Cylinder @ $200
Valve @ $100-$200
Power Beyond kit from JD or hoses, fittings, QD's ect. @ $200-$300
Hoses and QD's for the cylinder @ $50-$100

You will also have to fabricate your own mounts for the valve.

Thanks Kenny. I stopped by the local dealer regarding the PB kit which I will try to send along in an acceptable format. The system won't take tif files so I will try something else. It looks pretty generic, but for the rear hydraulic system cap plate, just above the PTO. Unless you can tap the plate to accept fittings, you likely would have to purchase the entire kit. Thanks for your help.

The 855 has TWO SCVs controlled by the Joystick...there is an auxillary connection in its hydraulic system which the Power Beyond can connect to...the outlet port plug is found in the center top right behind where the SCVs attach and the inlet port plug is found on the top edge (Right side) above the rockshaft relief plug...
