Box Scraper Hydraulic Top Link for Box Blades. Good idea?

Well, I find my hydraulic top link very handy. It allows me to make adjustments on the fly. Also, very nice when hooking up some of my implements. Allows me to get that implement just a little higher when traversing rough terrain. Makes bringing out the full range of ground engagement implements a whole lot easier and I'm much more likely to find the very best setting as opposed to just OK.

that would have made it easier to get on the tractor,,,

Most companies are now essentially bundling FELs it seems with a variety of "giveaways". When I drive past tractor dealers virtually all the CUTs in the lot seem to have loaders mounted. But, as you point out, there certainly are some that don't have loaders. I still don't understand why a factory or dealer would add relatively expensive FEL valves etc if they don't bother adding the loader. I can imagine selling a naked tractor without FEL but why bother with the valving etc in that case.

I may be wrong, but fairly sure that most if not all the different manufacturers that are now providing integrated mid SCVs (loader valve) are now supplying them with the tractor, does not matter if you get a loader or not. All part of what the majority of consumers seem to want.

Same thing goes for all the rear remotes, everyone likes the integrated valves with the control levers between the seat and fender, and while that looks waaaaaay nicer, in my opinion when the valves and levers are mounted off the ROPS or on the fender (depending on different makes and models), the control levers can be in a far better ergonomic location than down to the right of the seat, but then that doesn't look so good.

All it ever did was pull a manure scraper (dairy operation) on the three point hitch.
The drawbar was never used.
The tractor was delivered January 2013,, it was traded in June 2016.
I am dealing with cleaning it up,,, now,, this is my "Spring 2017 Project"

So far,,, it runs perfect,, it even has the original battery.

As far as rear remotes go, I've gotten used to the floor mounted levers on my Kioti DK40se (actually just off the floor outboard of the FEL joystick). However, I do wish that one of them was operable from the back of the tractor. My topping lift would be nice to have a dual control so I can adjust it while hooking up an implement from the back and then fine tune the topping lift from the operator station while mowing or box blading etc.

When I had my CK20 I used rear remotes to control the grapple and found the lever position between the seat and fender to be perfect for that. Exactly like dropping your hand off the steering wheel in a manual tranny car. It was very natural and I actually liked it more than the diverter valve I now have on the DK.
