Hydraulic top link for BX22

I've always used the Prince stackable because they are relatively inexpensive and offer any work section you will ever need. They are rated for 12-16 gpm and come with an adjustable relief valve(1500-3000 psi.) so you can adjust down from the system presure of 1850 psi. if you need to. You can also get joystick handles if you have 2 valves you wish to connect together(handy for Top'nTilt). So you order item 9SV-1-X with work Section D(double acting with float) so the entire valve comes to $120.95, pretty cheap. Now if you need more valves down the road all you do is order the work section(s) you need and the matching longer tie rod bolts and your done.

I didn't mean to say that stackable valves were bad, its just that there are non-stackable alternatives that just may be better for the smaller BX in terms of actual cost, size and weight, especially for the hydraulically challenged tractor owner.

Since I wanted 3 spools for my B2710, I believe my hydraulic guy ordered an SVI15 inlet with relief, three SVW1BA1 work ports (4 way, DA, spring return), and an SVE22 outlet with power beyond. His cost from his source (not Prince direct) was $210 delivered. The footprint is just a tad over 8x8 inches and weighs about 28 lbs.

I know you didn't mean they were bad, some of those mono-blocks are very compact and cheap! I was just recommending the stackable because you can expand them and they are not too much bigger(the BX has plenty of room on the ROPS for mounting). I see the expandabliity to be very important, especially for those people who don't know what their needs will be in the future. I hate to see them buy a valve only to replace it with another one rather than just adding a new work section.

Seems to me that the biggest obstacle to what you want to do is finding a Cat 1 top link cylinder that is short enough to be compatible with the BX's 3-point hitch geometry. When/if you find one, please let the rest of us know...
