Hydraulic Top Link

   / Hydraulic Top Link #11
Hello Kryton. I posted earlier this evening this exact question. I must have got off my tractor 15 times today while using the box blade to adjust the top link. I am seriously considering installing a hydraulic top link. Could you give me some advice on what size cylinder you bought? Did you go with the 3,000 PSI cylinder? I found one this evening on Surplus Center's website. Picture is below.

Any advice you can offer is greatly appreciated.

For your tractor I'd go with a 2.5" diameter or 3" diameter cylinder. Measure your implements to find what length and stroke you want. IF your manual toplink works fine, and you havent found yourself wishing for more range of motion, then measure it retracted and extended and that will give you an idea.

Also do some reading about the toplinks with the check-valves. IF your remote valve has float, and you get a toplink like pictured, float wont work.
