Hydraulic Wing Snow Plow/Pusher Options

Hmmmm….. Hafta brainstorm that remote thing again.....

If he leaves his FEL on it takes 2.
If the blade has hydraulic angle and hydraulic wings it takes 3.

If he adds diverters to the two FEL circuits he still needs to add 1 remote
The HLA ones we have use 1 remote and a pair of selector valves, here is the page from the HLA parts diagram:

Both diverters off and flow passes through to the angle cylinders.
Diverter 1 on and flow passes to one side wing
Diverter 2 on and flow passes to the other wing

There's no way his little tractor is gonna carry a 1500lb push box on the FEL.
I've saw push boxes used commercially for clearing parking lots, etc. Best when used on a Center Pivot wheel loader.
I agree, I missed the HP of his tractor initially. Our tractors at work (a backhoe and a 100ish HP tractor) are just big enough and could use another 50HP/5000# in heavy wet snow.

Yep, now I get it Aaron. Thanks for the explanation.

Based on general lack of snow around Pittsburgh these days, I probably won't buy/build anything this season. Fun to brainstorm for next though.

Full disclosure, in addition to the blower mounted to the Gravely in my signature, I also have a plow for that tractor, and I outfitted both with full hydraulics last year (before I bought the RK). So it's not like I'm SOL with no snow removal options for the RK. LOL

Reversemaxx Snow plow | Metal Pless

Anyone out there make something like this, but for a 24hp range tractors?
Thinking about designing and fabbing my own (maybe not quite as robust as the Metal Pless) if nothing is commercially available at a decent price.
Would be nice to be able to push, and pull (back-drag) without spilling off the sides, but still be able to adjust the wings opposite to act as an angled plow with side discharge to the left or right.

I made one a couple of years back, This one is bigger than you need but maybe good for ideas. It does not tilt, which allows it to stay very close to the tractor and not way out, but the wings go 180 degrees for either push or pull or anything in between. The wings can move independently as well as both at the same time so you can create a wing with one forward and one back . This one is 6 ft wide with 3 ft wings but you can make it smaller! Best thing is you do not need any extra hydraulics as I use the tilt cylinders valves to move the wings. I just set it level on the ground and then disconnect the tilt for the loader and plug in my plow .. it stays exactly where I need it all winter. I will try to attach some pics .. Here is a video link of it working John Deere 332 Moving 4 Inches of Snow with Blade and Snow Blower - YouTube

Nice setup definitely well lit and impressive build.

I saw that Surplus Center now has the "rotary actuators" that hla uses to operate- reverse the "wings" at a realistic price. I was researching them when I was building a 3pt snow push/ puller. They are very robust and in my limited checking, way more expensive than I was willing to fork out.

Blizzard made a plow like that. It was 10 years ago since I worked at the factory that made them, but I built quite a few plows for tractors.

Blizzard got bought out by Douglas Dynamics at that time, who makes the Fisher/Western/Blizzard brands...or at least back then. It has been 10 years, so maybe the Blizzard brand has morphed into Western/Fisher?

I would check those brands out and see if something works for you off-the shelf.
