The recommended method is to cut the hi pressure line just after it exits the pump, attach a compression fitting for your hose, connect your hose to your FEL valve, run a line back to the hi pressure line, then connect just after the cut with a second compression fitting. This is a very simple and proven successful. When I first connected my FEL I connected to the draft control valve. It was too slow because it was restrictive.
