i just purchased a new b2320 and if i turn off the tractor with the blade on the back all the way up, within 2 hours it will be on the ground. it also leaks down a little while the tractor is running.
the dealer had it for 2 weeks and replaced the "valve" (they said that's all there is to the rear hydraulics) and it didn't fix it. originally they though it was a spring that kept pressure on the control that raises and lowers the hydraulics. then they said it was probably an o-ring. my question is, have many people or really anyone experienced this problem on a new tractor.

it's definitely under warranty. i was just curious if others had experienced this. the dealer said they don't know what else to do and is having to contact the kubota service rep. some people on another site said that it's to be expected that they might leak down, but i can't believe it's the norm.

Leaking down while shut off is one thing, and fairly normal. Leaking down while running isn’t normal.

You can isolate whether it is in the valve or the o-ring on the piston by closing the valve under the seat that controls the implement drop speed. Raise the implement all the way up, close the valve, and shut the machine off. If the implement still drops it is the o-ring on the 3-pt piston, if it doesn't drop, then it is in the control valve.

I have ballast weight on my 3PT for the winter, it hasn't leaked down at all since I hooked it up last November. It's only a few hundred pounds. I've left my FEL up overnight and it doesn't leakdown at all that I can detect by eye.
