Hydraulics needed to put thumb on Kubota L4400?

So far I really like the W R Long 3rd function kit and this is what I will probably get. I'm not sure yet if I want to try to install it myself or let a mechanic do it.

I did mine with a single spool valve mounted beside my loader valve similar to teg's. Here is a couple pics and a link to the entire project threads. It is not as hard as you think and there is plenty of help here on TBN. I had never done hydraulics before this. Now I have done several projects.

Just get the selector/diverter valve from Surplus and use a thumb switch to activate the grapple.

Many on TBN have done the same thing.

You can use a momentary switch for momentary use or use an on/off switch to leave it on as long as you need it.

Off mode reverts to bucket tilt.
