My ford 1710 tractor hydraulics works very slow. Where is the filter located?

Look under the right rear fender. Large spin on.

Thanks for filter location. I there a screen somewhere else that needs to be cleaned?

Not that I'm aware of. Will check service manuals and post if there is.

Can regulate hydraulic flow using spool flow control valve. My TC30 (Shibaura) has it under seat on operator platform. Rotary knob with turtle & rabbit icons/arrows.

Your 1710 is an earlier similiar model.

What type of fluid to use in hydraulic & transmission case for 1710 Ford tractor.

Suggest you get owners and repair manuals for your machine. Check Messicks in PA or call your local New Holland dealer.

The TC30 uses UTF for hydraulics.
