kubota BX22, Cub ZForce S 48 inch deck
After many years and countless hours in the brush and saplings I finally managed to put a stick thru the hydro cooling fan on my BX22. I have a parts list but can't find the right area to get the part number. Any help out there? Thanks in advance and yeah I'll think about the skid plate now.:)

I thought I heard that Kubota had an updated fan that was much easier to install. A two piece fan or something like that. Or did I just dream that up? Maybe someone could verify this. I know the original fan is quite a job to install.

Even if the fan came in two pieces, getting to the mounting bolts is the problem...at least this was the case on my BX24. Even the service rep was at an awww. The trick he said to use was to make a slit on one side of the fan, then slide it over the shaft and secure and that was usually good enough for the cheap plastic and that's what he usually told his service guys to do for the BX22 and BX23. But Kubota "improved" their shaft design and didn't allow for any movement to get to the mounting bolts on the BX24.

Skid plate indeed..

Thanks Radioman gives me something to go on. I haven't looked under the tractor but I'm sure it's going going to be real fun. I've read some of the info on here and see it may concern removing the floor pan and/or fender. I'm pretty good at "alternative" wrenching so I'll figure out a way without going that far if possible.
I'm lucky at least I'm not dealing with the BX24 and the upgraded shaft.

A two piece fan would work and be an upgrade as mine is currently a five piece fan thanks to the stick.:)

Now that's funny. I don't care who you are.
