Hydro Drain Plug....L3830...HELP!!

In the middle of 50hr service on L3830. Shows 4 drain plugs in manual for the hydraulic system. The manual shows 4 hex head plugs. I've found 3. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif 2 smaller ones on the final drives and 1 big one toward the rear. The 4th which should be forward on the tractor appears to be a flush allen head style centered amongst 4 "plugs." Did I find the correct one ??? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif Thanks...Chuck

P.S. If so, what size?? Off to store to pick one up so I can finish job.

Hello.
I did my 50 hr service on my L3130 last weekend.

My tractor had four plugs, like you described.
One each on the final drives and one hex bolt head and one flush allen hex (female) style plug.

So yes, that is the correct plug on my tractor. It was 10mm size.

Im pretty sure its the same as your L3830.

Thanks Dwight....I moved on to some other projects to keep me busy. I'll pick up a 10mm hex head tomorrow. I have a 3/8 back at my house and was definitely not 5/16(biggest my parents had at the farm). I figured it was metric. Thanks again /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
