At last...it's all back together /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Everything works OK and no leaks so far. I have about 75 hay bales to move and dispose. Plus the grass needs mowing too. Between those 2 chores, if it's going to still leak...it'll show up then for sure.

I'm fairly confident the leak is fixed, since I ran this tractor up on stands for quite awhile, and not a drop leaked. But that was without any load on it. I'll know for sure within the next couple days.

Congratulations, I'm glad you got it back together and hopefully got your leak fixed. How long did disassembly/reassembly take less the 3 week wait time? Needless to say you know you tractor better than most of us - from the inside - out. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif Thanks for sharing the pictures, was interesting, but I must say it was pretty scary seeing a new tractor all torn apart like that. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

That's great news! I was wondering just yesterday how it was going. I was going to post a question asking about it.

Nice work!

It's great to have a working knowledge of what makes your tractor tick.

Beautiful work! You have to be the expert on this board. I would be tempted to call the dealer to say that you fixed the problem that should have never left their shop.

Congrats and big tip of the cap.

TCBoomer -

Job well done, that didn't look easy. I wouldn't be surprised if you have the urge to land on an aircraft carrier and declare "Mission Accomplished". /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Having a hydro myself, I have a keen interest in hydro longevity. At how many hours did the failure occur? And it sounds as if you work your hydro pretty hard, as I do. I'm thinking of adding an auxiliary oil cooler like a Hayden to get the fluid temps down from the 200's to closer to 180, that might be something to consider. High temps are murder on hydro fluid and seals.

( At how many hours did the failure occur? ) Since Bob hasn't posted in awhile, I'll try to answer this. I believe this happened when the tractor was brand new - something like less than 10 hours. He had a TC21 prior to this that he had traded in that had developed a fuel problem.
